The Clarifying Power of Self-Assessment (and a tool to make it fun and easy)

The Power of Self-Assessment

As teachers, we have so much on our plates. And then we're asked to somehow juggle all those plates - without letting anything fall off.

With so many tasks and goals competing for our attention, it's easy to lose sight of what's actually important.

That's why, on occasion, you need to step back and look at the big picture. To take a moment to reflect, clarify where you're at, and figure out where to focus your time and energy.

Self-reflection is an excellent practice - not the constant analyzing and stressing over how things are going (where we can't seem to turn our teacher brain off), but an intentional time to get out of the weeds and think clearly about your goals and development.

To make it easy (and fun), we've created a free guided self-reflection - to help you clarify where you're at, what you want to change, and some next steps for continued growth. Sign up here:

Mindfulness can be an effective practice for teachers as well, and he/she can cultivate it to their students, too.
